I had an appointment for Aug 7 at 4 PM. I arrived at 3:40 PM. There were two guests and one employee. The employee was a Black lady with pink nurse scrubs on, with an NYC accent. Upon arrival, she did not greet me. I asked to use the bathroom and found there was no soap in the bathroom. Apparently, she could hear me trying to get soap from the soap dispensary and said something through the door but I could not make out what she said. When I finally opened the door, she said in a very nasty, unprofessional tone and attitude “here’s the soap that you were banging on the wall for. I could hear you through the wall”. She was eating on a piece of candy while rolling her eyes. This was a completely unprofessional appearance while talking to clients. When I told her that I wasn’t banging on the wall, she said “you can get out with your nasty attitude because I’m not servicing you today.” First of all, even if I did bang on the wall, who are you to make a nasty, condescending remark to me like I’m a child? Secondly, this is not your establishment so why are you so bothered? Once I told her that I didn’t bang on the wall, she should’ve left it at that but continued to go back and forth with me. I told her that I was not leaving because I came to get finger printed. After she finished servicing one guest, she told me that I can leave because I wouldn’t get serviced. I asked to speak to her manager and she claimed that she was the manager. I called the office and filed a complaint. I will be following up about the compliant. You shouldn’t have unprofessional people working here who have no customer service or communication skills. She represented every nasty stereotype there is about Black women and as a Black woman, I am disgusted with her attitude and she shouldn’t be a representation of this company.

There’s so much positive things I can say, to non other than the most amazing person I know that helped me throughout my process of RTD- return to duty process. So let’s start until I run out of room. Many other companies and personals led me to a dead end. Which can make a person give up, But with faith the lord sent me the most professional, patient, fair, and honest person I’ve come across. This person helped me for weeks, no matter the day or respectable time, always picked up my phone call or text, giving me feedback that always led to another reason on why I shouldn’t give up.Her work needs to be recognised especially for others in same situation as me.
